Professional career
Christian Sprenger completed his training as a qualified public administrator with the Senate of the town of Hamburg (1998) and subsequently joined the staff of the Social and Registration Services. In 2002 he moved on to the Federal Employment Agency as a candidate for the clerical civil service. He began his studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Schwerin and completed these in 2005 with a degree in administration (Dipl.-Verwaltungswirt/FH). Until the end of 2006, Mr Sprenger was a job placement officer with advisory duties at the Employment Office in Hamburg. He has been a project assistant at IAB since 2007.
