EGS - German Job Vacancy Survey of the IAB
The German Job Vacancy Survey of the IAB is a yearly cross sectional survey that is carried out by the Institute for Employment Research in Nuremberg (IAB) in every fourth quarter since 1989. It provides representative and statistical valid data for the development of macroeconomic labour requirements and on staffing processes. Furthermore, it offers information on broken off staffing processes and on firms’ ratings of recent labour market policy developments.
For an overview of the provided data of 2005 to 2009 and following quarters (one to three for each following year) and for information on data access please refer to the outline of the German Job Vacancy Survey of the IAB.
More information on the contents and publications of the German Job Vacancy Survey of the IAB is given by the department ‘Forecasts and Structural Analyses’ on the German Job Vacancy Survey web sites.
