The Sample of Integrated Labour Market Biographies is available in two different versions: a weakly anonymous data set and a factually anonymous data set. The former may only be used during research visits (and, subsequently, by remote data access). The latter is transferred to researchers as scientific use file for work in their offices. In exceptional cases, the scientific use file might be analysed during research visits or using remote data access.
