Project Description
The aim of the project is to improve data access for researchers interested in business statistical panel data of the Federal Statistical Office and the Federal Employment Agency (BA). The focus is on panel data because of their high analytical potential and their limited availability so far.
The availability of the data for research is improved by providing these data via remote data access and on-site use at the research data centres. Another important objective of the project is to verify the extent to which business statistical panel data can be factually anonymized without loosing too much information. An essential goal is to find out if it is possible to create informative scientific use files which can be used at the researchers' workplaces.
