The Research Data Centre (FDZ) of the German Federal Employment Agency (BA) at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) provides researchers access to micro data for non-commercial empirical research in the fields of social security and employment.

The FDZ offers three ways of data access for researchers: Scientific Use Files, Remote Data Access and On-Site Use. We offer on-site use of the data at the FDZ in Nuremberg and via secure internet connection at further locations. In cooperation with the Research Data Centre of the Statistical Offices of the Länder you can work with FDZ data at the following external locations:
