Summary

The panel "Establishments in the Covid-19 Crisis" was a high-frequency representative establishment survey on labour market and human resources issues during the Corona pandemic. A total of 24 individual waves were collected for the period 03/08/2020 - 30/06/2022. The panel thus provides a data set designed to map the the consequences of the Covid-19 crisis in a tight way.

As of 18/10/2022, all 24 waves are available. The study has ended and no further waves will be collected.

Test data

Test data of the panel "Establishments in the Covid-19 Crisis" are intended to enable you to write and test evaluation programs. The test data are generated by means disassociation of the original data. They are not eligible for analysis.

The test data include all variables of the original data with the same variable name, variable label and value label. Variables that are particularly sensitive in compliance with the current data protection legislation are included in the test data, but only by request in the original data. It is possible to generate a panel over all waves with partial coherence of characteristics over tim.

  • English Labels:
    English variable- and value labels are available for the panel „Establishments in the Covid-19 crisis“. In Stata, the English labels can be activated with the command "label language en". 
  • Additional variables from the Establishment-History-Panel (BHP):
    Selected establishment characteristics from the Establishment History Panel (BHP) can be merged to thepanel "Establishments in the Covid-19 Crisis" after conformation of the request form. The variables of the BHP are listed in the document FDZ-Datenreport 09/2022 (pdf).
