Abstract

In cooperation with the ministry of economics in Saxony (SMWAV), the project "minimum wage: a longitudinal study for Saxony" assesses establishment level adjustments in response to the new German minimum wage are evaluated using the sub-sample of the IAB Establishment Panel for Saxony. Among all states in Germany Saxony has been most severely affected by the introduction of the Minimum wage. Therefore, it is an interesting case to look at how Establishments reacted to this new legislation.
