Abstract

In the period December 2021 to June 2023, workshops "When being different is normal - bringing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to life" will be held in all departments of the IAB. The measure was conceived internally at the Federal Employment Agency by the Inclusion Office and is currently being implemented in all parts of the Federal Employment Agency by more than 700 multipliers. Aim of the workshops: In the course of the workshop, employees receive information on the subject of inclusion and the opportunity to actively address the topic of "Living with a disability". Procedure at IAB: The multipliers at the IAB (seven people) divided all departments among themselves and coordinated appointments with a total of 26 groups. For organisational reasons, particularly small teams were grouped together. Very large areas were divided into (several) smaller groups. Depending on the preference of the department, the workshops are held in person or via Skype.
