Longitudinal firm data in Germany : new data provided by German research data centres

Abstract

"The access for researchers to micro data collected by the Statistical Offices and the Federal Employment Agency in Germany has been improved significantly by the implementation of research data centres. These centres provide access to data that corresponds (meets) (to) legal and scientific standards. So far the focus has been on cross sectional data.
