Professional background

 Lisa Schmidtlein completed her master's degree in social economics at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2018. After working as a research assistant at the Chair of Sociology & Empirical Social Research at FAU and various jobs in the private sector, she began working as a research assistant at the Research Data Center (FDZ) of the IAB in 2019. Her areas of responsibility included data production, advice on and processing of data usage requests, data protection checks and record linkage projects. In 2021 she switched to data and IT management (DIM), where she works in data sales as an IT specialist with a focus on record linkage projects and in stata-self-service.
